Camp 43 is about the art of living slowly. It was born on the 43rd parallel north, a circle of latitude that runs across some of the most quietly rugged terrains in the world. It's about being connected with nature and slowing down, while also maintaining forward movement and going against the grain. "Camp" nods to stripped down essentials: no noise or superficiality, just what matters. The name carries a sense of place without screaming it.

"Flow North"

"Flow North" is a call to live and move against the current. While it is not unique to Lake George to flow north, it intuitively embodies a quiet rebellion of nature and expectation. We expect the flow of water to move from North to South, because our brain operates based on logic, assumptions, and what "makes sense." Flow North is a reminder to move forward even when it is not the easy direction, to go against the grain, even when the current is pulling you in the opposite direction. It's the rhythm of steady progress and intentional movement. Be intentional. Don't conform to the expectation or feel pressure to always make sense. That's what it's all about.
